- Which series does CYTEK offer, and what is each for?
- CYTEK offers six series: CA-T (heavy-duty rear loading, 150 mm, 670-720 panels/day), AGX (high-speed angular, 105 mm, 800-1080), CN (heavy-duty, 125 mm, 460-670), AG (PC type, 100 mm, 280-450), CX (compact entry-level, 75 mm, 200-300) and CPB (copper-clad laminate, 60 mm). The first five cut wood-based panels; CX and CPB also handle plastics.
- I need to cut 500 panels a day, which machine should I choose?
- By daily panel output across the CYTEK range: 200-300 to CX, 280-450 to AG, 460-670 to CN, 670-720 to CA-T, 800-1080 to AGX. 500 panels a day falls in the CN Series range. Panel thickness and maximum cutting length also affect the choice, so confirm with CYTEK.
- What is saw projection?
- Saw projection is the maximum height the blade rises above the table, which sets how thick a book can be cut in one pass. CYTEK's CA-T Series at 150 mm cuts seven 18 mm panels; the AG Series at 100 mm cuts five. Greater projection means more panels per pass and higher throughput.
- What do "panel" and "cai per day" mean as units?
- A "panel" here means a full uncut sheet (commonly 4 x 8 ft). "Cai" is a Taiwanese board-measure unit equal to one Taiwanese foot square. Cabinet workshops quote capacity in cai per day and furniture factories in panels per day, so CYTEK lists both.
- How does an auto-loading saw differ from a standard computer beam saw?
- On a standard computer beam saw the operator feeds panels by hand; an auto-loading saw uses a lift table or pusher to load automatically, cutting manual handling and raising throughput. CYTEK's auto-loading models are the CA-T, AGX, CN and CX Series.
- Which machine should I choose for acrylic or copper-clad laminate?
- For plastics such as acrylic, choose CYTEK's CX or CPB Series; for copper-clad laminate, choose the CPB Series, whose steel worktable and independent pressure beam are designed for laminate.
- What are the power and air supply requirements? Can machines be built for local voltage?
- In Taiwan, CYTEK machines run on a standard supply of 220V / three phase / 60Hz, with an air supply of 6~7 kg/cm2 (7~8 kg/cm2 on the CA-T series). A standard machine draws 24~36 kW depending on specification. Export machines can be built for the local voltage and frequency, for example 380V / three phase / 50Hz or 415V / three phase / 50Hz.
- How much capacity should the factory distribution box provide?
- A standard CYTEK machine draws 24~36 kW, but the relays and switchgear in the factory distribution box should be rated for 75 kW. The headroom keeps an unstable supply from tripping the machine and wearing out its electrical components. Confirm the exact requirement with CYTEK for your model when ordering.
- Can a machine be customised, and how long does assessment take?
- CYTEK accepts customised orders for special cutting sizes or special materials - for example aluminium panels cut to 150 mm height, or timber panels cut to 9000 mm length. Cutting motions can also be adapted so the saw integrates with an existing production line, and the machine can interface with the customer's own production software. Assessment takes roughly 3 to 14 days.
- Does CYTEK export, and to which markets?
