What kind of company is CYTEK?

CHEN YUAN TEK CO., LTD. (brand CYTEK) is based in Shengang District, Taichung, Taiwan. Founded in 1979 by Mr. Lin-yuan Hsu as CYWWM and renamed CYTEK in 2005, it produced Taiwan's first domestically built European-style beam saw in 1988. It manufactures computer beam saws, auto-loading panel saws and saws for plastics and copper-clad laminate, and supplies software including the Ruban furniture production ERP.

What does CYTEK provide besides machines?

Besides beam saws, CYTEK provides the Ruban furniture production ERP, production line monitoring, panel optimization software and automated production line planning, integrated with the machines as a complete solution.

How long is the warranty on a CYTEK machine?

CYTEK machines carry a one-year warranty starting from the delivery date. It covers parts damaged in the course of normal production, together with the labour for any resulting on-site service. Damage from natural disasters - earthquake, typhoon, fire, flooding or lightning strike - and impact damage caused by operator error or incorrect operation are not covered.

How long is delivery from order to handover?

For a standard CYTEK model, delivery takes about 30 working days from order to handover, extending to about 60 working days in peak season. A customised machine takes roughly 120 to 180 days because of the extra design and build time.

Who installs the machine, and is training provided?

In Taiwan, installation is carried out by CYTEK and is quoted separately alongside the machine. Installation and operator training together take 3 days and cover machine operation and routine maintenance. For overseas customers, CYTEK either sends engineers or supports the work remotely, according to the purchase terms agreed by both sides.

How do I report a fault, and how quickly can I get spare parts?

Faults can be reported by telephone or through the official CYTEK LINE account, with a response in about 1 hour during normal working hours. Regular consumables and spare parts can be ordered in advance; other stocked parts ship in about 1 to 3 days, while specially made parts are quoted for lead time when the request is raised. Overseas customers can also report faults by email, official LINE or WeChat.

Can I visit the factory or bring my own panels for a test cut?

Yes. Please book by telephone first, and you are welcome to see the machines running at the CYTEK plant in Shengang, Taichung. You may bring your own panels for a test cut, and if it helps CYTEK can arrange a visit to a customer site to see the machines in real production.

How much does a CYTEK machine cost?
